Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to ensure a smooth 24/7 admissions process at the nursing center. You will manage referrals, coordinate sign-ins, and conduct admissions counseling and tours for potential residents and families.

Requirements include a high school diploma and flexibility to adjust schedules to meet admissions needs, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and service within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have the ability to adjust work schedule based on nursing center’s business need, specifically admission flow.

Responsibilities

• Implement an effective, streamlined admissions process on a 24-hour, 7-days per week basis to ensure admission sign-in compliance and a high level of patient/family satisfaction.
• Coordinate the nursing center referral flow admissions process including community sales, referral management and admission sign-in, through post-admission utilizing our Core Operating System (PCC).
• Conduct admissions counseling and tours with potential customers, families, and responsible party.
