LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is seeking an Admission Counselor in Kentucky to help young adults ages 16 to 24 connect with Job Corps, a federal program offering career training, diplomas, housing, and pathways to employment.

This full-time, hybrid role requires local travel and community engagement to meet enrollment goals. You will build relationships with schools and community organizations, guide applicants through eligibility, and ensure timely follow-up.

Competenze

• Strong communication skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.
• Good organization and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• A genuine belief in young adults and an easy way of connecting with people.
• Experience in outreach, admissions, recruiting, or youth programs is a plus; Job Corps experience is a big plus.

Admission Counselor

Help young adults in your community take the first step toward a real career.

LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is hiring an Admission Counselor in Kentucky. You'll connect young adults ages 16 to 24 with Job Corps, a free federal program that offers career training, a high school diploma or GED, housing, and a path to a career. Many of the young people you meet are looking for a fresh start, and you'll be the person who helps them take that first step. This is a full-time, hybrid position with local travel required.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with schools, churches, youth programs, workforce centers, and community organizations that refer young people to Job Corps

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a related field; or an associate's degree in one of these fields plus two years of related experience
