Job summary

LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is seeking an Admission Counselor in Green Bay, WI to help connect young adults aged 16 to 24 with Job Corps. This full-time role involves local travel and building partnerships with schools and community organizations to drive enrollment.

You will guide applicants through eligibility and the admissions process, follow up promptly, and work toward monthly enrollment goals while providing compassionate support to program participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a related field; or an associate’s degree plus two years of related experience.
• Experience in outreach, admissions, recruiting, or youth programs is a plus; Job Corps experience is a big plus.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.
• Good organization and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with schools, churches, youth programs, workforce centers, and community organizations that refer young people to Job Corps.
• Meet with interested applicants and explain the program clearly and honestly.
• Guide applicants through eligibility and the admissions process.
• Follow up with every prospect within 24 hours so no one falls through the cracks.
• Work toward monthly enrollment goals and track outreach and progress.
• Schedule center tours and help new students know what to expect.

Admission Counselor

LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is hiring an Admission Counselor in Green Bay, WI. You'll connect young adults ages 16 to 24 with Job Corps, a free federal program that offers career training, a high school diploma or GED, housing, and a path to a career. Many of the young people you meet are looking for a fresh start, and you'll be the person who helps them take that first step. This is a full-time position with local travel.

What You'll Do
