Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to serve as a resource for students, faculty, and staff and to provide professional front desk support. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with flexibility.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain security of confidential student records.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a student, faculty, and staff resource and ambassador for the college.
• Provides professional, courteous, timely front/reception desk customer service to students, faculty, staff, and customers; referring students, faculty, staff, and customers to other college support services as needed
• Performs general office administrative duties such as filing, scanning documents, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, processing book returns, issuing uniforms, and scheduling, organizing, and operating classrooms and campus-based spaces
• Complete student payment processes including taking payments, completing ledger corrections, and making bank deposits
• Creates and maintains student academic files; ensuring all compliance requirements are met
• Creates and maintains student academic documentation tracking
• Partners with the Registrar’s Office to complete student file audits; ensuring that student files remain accurate and compliant
• Records and maintains student attendance records
• Coordinates and manages student IEP testing
• Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment
• Participates in new student orientation activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
