Job summary

Cedar Lake Wellness & Rehabilitation seeks an experienced Admissions Coordinator to manage admission guidelines, market programs, gather applicant information, screen candidates and finalize admission processes. You will also support census growth by engaging with referral sources and families.

The role emphasizes accurate financial verification, smooth resident transitions, and collaboration with hospital partners to match residents with appropriate care at our center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in health care services desirable.
• Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services useful.
• Presents professional image through appearance, behavior and speech.

Responsibilities

• Maintains admissions guidelines and updates admissions criteria, policies and procedures.
• Markets programs and facilities by providing information and tours to prospective residents and referral sources.
• Handles inquiries and completes admission paperwork, including Medicare facts and room rates.
• Ensures financial verification is accurate before admission to reduce accounts receivable.
• Screens prospective residents against admission criteria and coordinates referrals to other programs.
