Job Summary
Responsible for performing registration, administrative and clerical functions of the Admitting Department, specific tasks vary by entity.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Admissions Associate
Education/Degree
- High School Graduation or GED required
- Associate’s Degree preferred for Senior Admissions Associate.
Experience
- Medical terminology experience preferred for the Senior Admissions Associate.
Qualifications
Education/Degree Required - High School Graduation or GED. Preferred - Associate’s Degree preferred for Senior Admissions Associate. Experience Required - Medical terminology experience preferred for the Senior Admissions Associate. Preferred Licensure Required: Preferred Skills (Specific learned activity gained through training (e.g. computer skills, keyboarding, presentation, CPR, ACLS, etc.) Required: - Computer proficiency required. Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software. - Effective verbal, electronic and written communications skills using the English language. Preferred: - Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse population. - Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team. - Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them. - High level of service delivery. Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations. - Attention to detail.
