Job summary

Vintage Wellness & Rehabilitation in Denton, TX is seeking an Experienced Admissions Professional to manage the admissions process for prospective residents, verify information, and coordinate with families.

You will market programs, screen applicants, conduct tours, and ensure accurate financial verification to support smooth transitions. A high school diploma and healthcare exposure are desirable; professional presentation is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience in health care services desirable.
• Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services useful.
• Maintains a professional image through appearance, behavior and speech.

Responsibilities

• Maintains admissions guidelines and participates in updating admissions criteria, policies and procedures.
• Markets programs and facilities by providing information, answering questions, and conducting tours with prospective residents and referral sources.
• Handles inquiries and completes inquiry system for admissions, Medicare facts, and room rates.
• Gathers nursing information from discharge systems and hospital floor nurses.
• Ensures financial verification is accurate before admission to reduce receivables.
• Screens prospective residents against admission criteria and directs to appropriate programs.
• Resolves concerns by investigating and recommending policy changes.
• Maintains knowledge of served markets, referral sources, and census development efforts.
• May assist administrator in contacting families after admission/discharge to determine satisfaction.
