Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is opening a new admissions role. We seek candidates to provide admissions office support, manage referrals, intake, verification and pre-certification, and assist the Admissions Manager as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes. At least 1 year in a medical office or healthcare registration setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Business or Technical School is preferred.
• Medical terminology and knowledge of process of insurance verification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides admissions office support for the facility. Manages referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions process.
• Serves as a back-up to the Admissions Manager.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
