Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park in Maitland, FL is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The role acts as the main liaison between hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families to ensure a seamless admissions process and support occupancy growth.

Key duties include coordinating admissions, verifying insurance, and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners while providing excellent customer service to families and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of admissions experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, PDPM, and payer guidelines.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to build relationships.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions from referral to admission.
• Collaborate with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and referrals.
• Develop relationships with referral partners and community orgs.
• Support marketing and outreach by attending events.
• Educate residents and families about services and procedures.
• Verify insurance, financials, and authorization requirements.
• Monitor admissions activity and report trends.
• Identify barriers and work with leadership to fix.
• Communicate admission details with the interdisciplinary team.
