Responsibilities

• Maintain admissions guidelines and participate in updating admissions criteria, policies and procedures.
• Market programs and facilities by providing information and conducting tours for prospective residents and referral sources.
• Handle inquiries by walk-ins or phone and manage the admissions workflow and rate information.
• Verify financials before admission to reduce receivables.
• Screen prospective residents against admission criteria and refer to other programs as needed.
• Investigate concerns and resolve resident/family dissatisfaction, proposing policy changes as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of market areas, origin of residents, and major referral sources.
• Assist census development by engaging with referral sources via phone or email.
• Manage inquiries and referrals as needed by sales model.
• Evaluate residents for admission using clinical information and coordinate with hospital/social services to verify eligibility.
