The role requires excellent communication, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to coordinate with insurers to verify benefits and authorizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting, preferably admissions or intake coordination.
• Strong understanding of substance abuse treatment and recovery principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to intake, including assessments.
• Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, providing program information.
• Maintain accurate records of admissions activities per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with insurance companies to verify benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Ensure a welcoming admission experience and address client questions.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing activities.
