Job summary

The Phoenix Recovery Center in Utah is seeking a compassionate Admissions Coordinator to guide prospective clients and families through the admissions process, coordinating intake from initial contact to admission and ensuring a supportive experience.

You will verify insurance, gather necessary documentation, document activity in KIPU and other systems, and work with clinical, medical, and residential teams. On-call evenings/weekends and outreach events are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in admissions or healthcare or related field.
• Experience with behavioral health or substance use is a plus.
• Experience with KIPU or other EHR systems preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients and families.
• Complete intake screenings and coordinate admissions.
• Gather and maintain required documentation and verify insurance.
• Document admissions activity in KIPU and other systems.
• Coordinate with clinical, medical, and residential teams.
• Participate in rotating on-call evenings and weekends.
• Assist with outreach events and relationship-building as needed.

This role is responsible for guiding prospective clients and their families through the admissions process while providing excellent customer service and helping individuals access the care they need.Position SummaryAs the Admissions Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for many clients and referral partners.
