Responsibilities include evaluating applicant fit, gathering documentation, coordinating with clinical teams, handling paperwork, and maintaining resident records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility admissions.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and HMO processes.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (EHR) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Commitment to resident dignity, rights, and professionalism.
• Reliability and attendance are essential.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date resident records.
• Represent the facility to prospective residents and families through tours and marketing materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals and community organizations.
• Assist with insurance verification, pre-certification, and payment options.
• Uphold every resident's dignity, rights, and respect throughout the admissions process and beyond.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, psychology, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility admissions is essential

• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and HMO processes and reimbursement procedures

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, especially PointClickCare, a plus

• Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and stay composed under pressure

• A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a collaborative, professional attitude

• Reliable attendance and a professional demeanor
