Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness in Houston, TX is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our full-time team. You will act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community, guiding prospective guests and families through the admissions process.

The role focuses on building relationships with hospitals, physicians, insurers, and health care agencies, conducting admissions screenings, and coordinating with care teams to determine level of care and services required.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education preferred.
• Experience in managed care or insurance preferred.

Position and Schedule

• Admissions Coordinator
• Full-Time
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community.
• Connect daily with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education preferred. Experience in managed care or insurance preferred.
• Create and execute facility sales and marketing plans and strategies.
• Conduct facility tours for potential guests and families.
• Conduct admission screenings of potential guests; determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage as needed.
• Welcome guest and family upon admission.
