The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Cedar Park, TX is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to help reach census goals by developing partnerships with external clients and with patients and families served, while maintaining excellent working relationships with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include liaison with the outside community, pre-admission data collection, conducting tours and screenings, and coordinating with discharge planners to assess resident needs and level of

Competenze

• Associate degree in a business-related field or a minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care admissions.
• Bachelor’s degree; experience in health care sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education preferred.
• Experience in managed care or insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community.
• Connect daily with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.
• Gather sufficient pre-admission data to determine resident level of care and the ability of the Community to properly care for the resident.

• Identify potential residents whose needs can be met by the Community. Ability to accept
• reservations for resident accommodations in an accurate and organized manner.
• Ability to understand the Community computer system and the software used in this department.
• Ability to analyze Quality Indicator information related to admissions, discharges and resident
• case mix to develop and implement the marketing program.
• Refer Community and resident concerns to appropriate individuals.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in a business related field or a minimum of 2 years of experience in long term careadmissions. Bachelor’s degree Experience in health care sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education preferred.
• Experience in managed care or insurance preferred.
