Northgate Health Care Facility is hiring an Admissions Concierge in North Tonawanda, NY. The role focuses on creating a welcoming experience for new residents and families, addressing questions with compassion and professionalism, and coordinating admission-related activities.

The position offers a 40-hour work week, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including PTO and insurance options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care with residents/families.
• Background as CNA or PCA a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude with teamwork and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and families to the facility and provide tours and orientation support.
• Maintain and update orientation materials and admission-related documentation.
• Communicate daily with residents to ensure needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.
• Maintain logs of resident concerns, follow-up actions, and resolutions.
• Ensure subacute rehabilitation rooms are clean, prepared, and ready for admissions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident satisfaction and a positive admission experience.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a long-term care setting with residents and families required
• Background as a CNA or PCA a plus
• Background in customer service, hospitality industry, restaurant industry a plus...we want to know that you have excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and conflict resolution abilities
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to maintain professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced environment
