The Grand Healthcare System in East Meadow, NY is hiring an Admissions Concierge to support the admissions team and provide exceptional service to residents and families. This full-time role offers a pay range of $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, with weekly payroll and benefits including health insurance and growth opportunities.

The candidate will assist with admissions processing, conduct tours, and coordinate paperwork while maintaining a high standard of professional service to residents, families

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional and outgoing personality.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be dependable, motivated and willing to take initiative.
• Long Term Care, healthcare, admissions or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Admissions Coordinator with processing admissions and responding to referrals.
• Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents and families.
• Provide exceptional service to residents, families and prospective residents while communicating with hospital case managers and other departments as needed.
• Assist with admissions agreements and other required admission paperwork.
• Help coordinate room turnover and preparing rooms for new admissions.
• Collect, organize and file admission paperwork and other required documentation.
• Assist with census reports, resident records and other administrative paperwork.
• Performing other clerical and administrative duties as needed.
