Qualifications

• Must be registered as an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselor with a California-recognized certifying organization (CCAPP, CADTP, or CAADE).

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and professional phone coverage for potential participants and referrals.
• Schedule intake processes and coordinate admissions for qualified participants.
• Explain program options and benefits to callers and guide them through the admissions process.
• Assist participants in understanding their insurance benefits (e.g., Medi-Cal, Medicare).
• Identify callers not appropriate for CLARE|MATRIX and refer them to appropriate resources.
• Maintain current knowledge of services, census availability, and admissions options.
