Job summary

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach is seeking Admissions Attendants to greet guests and guide them through their upside-down adventure. You will handle guest questions, process transactions at the point-of-sale, and help create a memorable experience.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to stand for long periods, light lifting, and willingness to work holidays. Prior themed entertainment and sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and guest needs.
• Basic mathematical skills to handle cash and change.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work any shift including holidays.
• Previous themed entertainment and sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction.
• Answer guest questions and provide exceptional customer service.
• Process transactions through a point-of-sale system with accurate cash handling in a high-volume environment.
• Upsell guests on additional services such as combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows.
• Answer phones and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Admissions Attendants are the first to interact with our guests as they welcome them into the adventure of the upside-down building. Admissions Attendants are an intrinsic part of positive ticket sale interactions including sharing valuable information with guests, setting the tone for the WONDERful experiences they have in store for them inside the attraction!

Responsibilities:

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction
• Answer guest questions and offer assistance in a friendly manner that provides exceptional customer service
• Accurately process transactions through a point-of-sale system including proper cash handling in a high-volume environment
• Upsell guests on additional services offered at the point of sale including combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows if applicable
• Answer phones and courteously redirect calls to the appropriate department
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
