Job summary

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach is seeking enthusiastic Admissions Attendants to greet guests and kick off the adventure inside our upside-down building. You will assist visitors, answer questions, and deliver friendly, first-class service in a fast-paced environment.

Job seekers with strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a willingness to work flexible shifts including holidays are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in themed entertainment and sales is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Observational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs.
• Basic mathematical skills to make change.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work any shift including holidays.
• Previous themed entertainment and sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attraction
• Answer guest questions and offer assistance in a friendly manner that provides exceptional customer service
• Accurately process transactions through a point-of-sale system including proper cash handling in a high-volume environment
• Upsell guests on additional services offered at the point of sale including combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows if applicable
• Answer phones and courteously redirect calls to the appropriate department
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach is looking for Admissions Attendants to join our team! Our Admissions Attendants are the first to interact with our guests as they welcome them into the adventure of the upside-down building. Admissions Attendants are an intrinsic part of positive ticket sale interactions including sharing valuable information with guests, setting the tone for the WONDERful experiences they have in store for them inside the attraction!
