Job summary

Crossroads Inc. in Arizona seeks an Admissions Assistant to support the Admissions Department in daily front-office operations and customer service. You will greet visitors, field calls, provide program information, and coordinate transportation.

This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced behavioral health setting. A High School diploma or GED is required, with CPR/First Aid/Narcan training preferred.

Qualifications

  • CPR/First Aid/Narcan training is required.
  • Annual negative TB test is required.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check preferred; performed annually and upon hire.
  • Background check and Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk and greet guests and potential clients.
  • Field telephone calls and provide accurate program information.
  • Assist clients with requests and inquiries.
  • Schedule medical transportation as needed.
  • Maintain front office supplies and data entry/reporting.

Job Summary

The Admissions Assistant supports the Admissions Department staff in front office, day-to-day functions, and other duties, as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None
Essential Functions
  • Responsible for managing the front desk.
  • Field telephone calls and provide accurate program and service information.
  • Greet guests and potential clients.
  • Assist clients with requests and inquires.
  • Responsible for scheduling medical transportation.
  • Maintain proper stocking levels and front office supplies.
  • Data entry and reporting.
  • Perform other duties, as required.
Qualifications
  • Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training.
  • Current and annual negative TB Test.
  • Current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check performed annually and upon hire, preferred.
  • Successfully pass a background check and an Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Spanish Bilingual preferred.
  • Working knowledge of program guidelines and requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and data entry skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Related experience, and/or training preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Computer and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
  • Fast paced behavioral health office setting.
  • Primarily indoors, however, some outdoor
    work may be requested.
Physical Demands
  • While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and speak or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and seldom lift and/or move >100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Shift Requirements
  • Days, weekends, and holidays.
Travel
  • Valid AZ Driver’s License.
  • May include travel between sites and other locations.
