Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE at North Valley Nursing Center is seeking an Admissions Assistant to join our clinical team and deliver a care experience that patients and families remember. The role involves welcoming new residents, ensuring rooms are ready, and guiding admissions to a smooth and positive start.

Requirements include at least 6 months in an admissions assistant role in a SNF. This is a full-time position with various shifts, located at North Valley Nursing Center.

• Knowledge of Skilled Nursing Admission practices, processes, and policies.
• Able to interact professionally with employees, residents, visitors, and the general public.
• Seek new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing admission practices.
• Will welcome new residents with a packet, ensure room is ready, follow up to ensure admission went smoothly.
• Will have the ability to use patience, be assertive, enthusiastic and friendly.
