Job summary

Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle seeks an Admissions & Referral Intake Specialist to support admissions to the facility, in-house transfers and discharge processing for the skilled nursing, TCU and assisted living programs.

You will collaborate with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, referral agencies, discharge planners, social workers and in-house staff to achieve census goals and connect families with the right care pathways.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in long term care, clinical case management and admissions.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer service, business development or sales environment.

Description

The Admissions & Referral Intake Specialist supports admissions to the facility, in-house transfers and discharge processing for the Skilled Nursing, TCU and Assisted Living programs. Works in a team-based setting to work collaboratively with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, referral agencies, discharge planners, social workers, and in-house staff to achieve budgeted census levels.

Assists the Mount Leadership Team in outreach activities to enhance the ministry visibility with the greater community.

Required qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in long term care, clinical case management and admissions.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer service, business development or sales environment.
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Human Services.

Pay Range: $27.92 - $42.73. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
