Job summary
Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, WA is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time and part-time roles across all shifts. The RN Primary Nurse is responsible for coordinated care within a neighborhood, collaborating with residents, families and the care team to plan and implement care.
Required WA RN license and BLS, with a minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a similar setting. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and generous PTO; onsite amenities and supportive leadership
Qualifications
- Nursing degree and WA RN license required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a similar population.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; national certification encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide resident/patient care in partnership with family and care team; delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Maintain quality of care and participate in care planning and rounds.

The RN Primary Nurse has overall responsibility for the care of residents and patients
in her/his neighborhood. S/he works in partnership with residents, family members, and care team to plan and implement care. Responsibility for resident care is delegated to associate nurses and other care team members when not on duty. In all other ways, fulfills the job summary of the Registered Nurse in skilled nursing.

Nursing Degree
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
1 year of Nursing experience in a like population
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
National Certification in area of specialty upon hire
1 year of previous charge nurse or primary nurse experience, including leading teams.
1 year of Nursing experience in an environment that provides person-directed care.
