Job summary

The Washington State Bar Association, based in Seattle, WA, invites applications for an Analyst – Admissions in the Regulatory Services Department. This full‑time, non‑exempt role involves reviewing admissions applications, communicating with applicants, and administering bar and LPO exams to ensure licensure compliance in Washington.

The position is hybrid within Washington state and requires coordinating with NCBE and vendors, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the Board of Bar

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with college‑level coursework in law or legal education preferred.
• Paralegal certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates eligibility and verifies required documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conducts preliminary investigations into applicant qualifications and tracks supplemental information.
• Assists applicants with completing pre‑admission/licensure requirements and prepares complete applications for submission.
• Issues new‑admittee packets or licensure notifications after approval.
• Responds to inquiries from applicants and the public about qualifications for licensure.
• Communicates eligibility determinations and available pathways for admission or licensure.
