Position Overview

The Admissions Advisor is responsible for educating and attracting potential students to attend Herzing University Online Campus through inbound and outbound phone interactions. They provide information on the advantages of attending Herzing University, interview prospective students to define their program of interest, discuss scheduling and time commitments, and ensure all aspects of the enrollment process are completed thoroughly and accurately.

Work Schedule: A 40-hour work-week schedule will be determined based on preference and business needs, with hours of operation for Herzing's Online Division at one of the listed locations. This is a hybrid role with expectations of 1-2 days/week in-office.

• Monday-Thursday: 8am-8pm
• Friday: 8am-5pm
• Saturday: 8am-4pm
• Sunday: 10:30am-7pm

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• At least six months as an associate admissions advisor or related experience in admissions, higher education, customer service, or sales

Pay: Compensation is based on qualifications and experience, with a range of $23.17 to $31.39 per hour. Benefits include tuition waiver and reimbursement, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via telephone, email, text, and chat about Herzing University's courses and programs.
• Interview prospective students to understand their motivation, career goals, and potential obstacles.
• Assist prospective students in identifying suitable educational programs and share benefits of Herzing University.
• Guide students through the admissions process, ensuring completion of requirements and connecting them to support resources.
• Generate inquiries through outreach, events, and community engagement.
