Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is seeking an Admissions Advisor I for our Modesto campus. This on-site role guides prospective students, screens suitability for programs, and supports their enrollment journey with counseling and detailed program guidance.

The position requires on-campus presence, a two-year degree, and strong interview/communication skills. Great benefits, schedule Mon-Fri, with occasional weekend shifts, and a focus on student success.

Qualifications

• Experience in academic admissions environment.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong recruitment, interviewing and selection skills.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, detail orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Review and call all web inquiries and call-ins
• Set appointments and tours with prospective students
• Interview candidates to assess motive and program fit
• Educate candidates on program demands
• Clearly communicate program and academic requirements
• Provide results and coaching to candidates
• Complete applications with students
• Update pipeline through enrollment stages
• Prepare enrollment reports for weekly campus meetings
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Participate in community functions and career days
• Participate in campus graduation ceremonies
• Engage in admissions best practices
• Assigned duties by manager
