Job summary

Herzing University is seeking an On-Campus Admissions Advisor to educate and attract potential students at the Tampa campus. You will conduct interviews to determine program of interest, discuss scheduling and time commitments, and guide applicants through the full enrollment process with a focus on accuracy and completeness.

The role requires 40 hours weekly, with occasional weekends or evenings, and may involve travel to the Orlando campus for events.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months as an associate admissions advisor or related work experience, preferably in admissions, higher education, customer service or sales.
• Interview prospective students to define program of interest and discuss scheduling, time commitment, etc.
• Educational background suffices if work experience is strong.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship offered at this time.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries about Herzing University’s courses and programs via phone, email, text, and chat.
• Interviews prospective students to assess motivation, goals and potential obstacles in pursuing education.
• Guides students through the admissions process and connects them to support resources.
• Generates inquiries through outreach to local communities and events.
