Job summary

The ATC Healthcare team is seeking an Administrative Technician I to support the Admissions area at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility in Detroit, MI. Under supervision, you will handle clerical tasks for the admitting area.

Requirements include an active driver's license, ability to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check, and a High School Diploma or GED. Prior office experience is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Experience with clerical tasks in a correctional or juvenile setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process clerical tasks for the admitting area.
• Handle personal property items stored onsite.
• Provide emergency assistance as necessary.
• Ensure humane treatment of juvenile residents.
• Escheat inmate clothing according to facility policies.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary.
