Austin Oaks Hospital is seeking a qualified, energetic and positive candidate for the Admissions Generalist -Full-time Evenings. The Admission Generalist Serves as the initial contact for admission inquiries. Routes prospective patient / inquirer to appropriate person for assessment. Answers and forwardincoming calls. Provides accurate and timely data entry, coping of documents, and daily census reports. To assist admissions in providing direct patient care and supervision of all psychiatric patients; to insure safety, including crisis intervention.

Qualifications

Requirements

Experience: At least 1 year experience working in a hospital setting handling patients admissions, insurance verifications, benifits eligiblilty, answering a multi-line swithchboard, and responding to inquiires to admissions.
