Job summary

Cadia Healthcare is seeking an Admissions Director to join our team. The Admissions Director should achieve and maintain census and case mix as per budget, providing a smooth transition from referral location to the facility through a complete admission process.

The role requires serving as the primary contact with Admission Liaisons and referral sources, maintaining contacts and resources, and ensuring timely admission paperwork.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as facility primary contact with Admission Liaisons and referral sources regarding admissions.
• Maintain the database of medical contacts and community resources.
• Provide information to families regarding LTC stay, costs and regulations.
• Ensure the timely completion of pre-admission/admission paperwork.
• Responsible for the completion of daily census reports & forwarding of information to Corporate office/Admission Liaisons.
• Alert Department Heads of projected changes (i.e. admissions, discharges, and room changes).
• Assure a positive community image for the facility.

Education
