Job summary

Cadia Healthcare in Wilmington, DE is seeking an Admissions Director to manage census and case mix, and to oversee a smooth admission process from referral source to facility. You will protect the facility’s image and collaborate with admission liaisons and department heads.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical contact databases, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, and informing families about long-term care costs and regulations.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care environments is preferred.

• Provide information to families regarding LTC stay, costs and regulations.
• Ensure the timely completion of pre-admission/admission paperwork (i.e. Insurance verification in particular).
• Responsible for the completion of daily census reports & forwarding of information to Corporate office/Admission Liaisons.
