Country Drive Post Acute is seeking an Administrator in Training (AIT) in Fremont, CA. The role develops the knowledge and leadership required to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and to direct day-to-day operations in a long-term care facility.

Requires 1-3 years in long-term care and a Bachelor's Degree, with ability to thrive in a complex environment and to interact professionally with residents, families and staff. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in long-term care.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to thrive in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly populations professionally and respectfully.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop the knowledge, skills and ability to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with federal, state and local standards.
• Complete the Administrator in Training program as dictated by state regulations and preceptor evaluation(s).
