Priority Management Group is seeking an Administrator in Training (AIT) in Grapevine, TX, to join a full-time, multi-month on-the-job training program in a skilled nursing facility under an experienced administrator preceptor.

The program covers department rotations, interactions with CMS and regulators, and education in business accounting, risk management, and health care compliance to prepare graduates for leadership roles. MBA or MHA preferred but other degrees considered.

This is a unique and intensive on-the-job training program designed for individuals looking for a career in the healthcare executive field as a Nursing Home Administrator.

What You'll be Doing (Job Details):

The AIT Program is a full-time, multi-month program in which the AIT obtains practical on-the-job training in a nursing home environment under the direct supervision of an experienced Administrator preceptor/mentor.

The training program includes:

• Rotation through the various departments and duties in a skilled nursing facility; education on the interrelationships of the facility with outside parties and government agencies (such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services); and a study of regulations and requirements associated with the operation of a skilled nursing facility.
• Other topics of education for those in the AIT position include business/fiscal accounting management and principles of risk management and health care compliance.

AIT candidates must meet the minimum regulatory requirements for licensure in Texas. An Administrator's long-term success in the role is limited only by his/her own performance and motivation.
