Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of administrative/management experience in a home health agency or healthcare facility.
• Active, unencumbered Michigan RN license is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (BSN or MBA/Healthcare Administration).
• Deep familiarity with the Great Lakes region and local referral networks.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines, QAPI, and operations management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensure fiscal sustainability, and drive high-quality clinical performance.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations, Medicare conditions of participation, and ACHC standards.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing clinical and administrative team.
• Direct patient-focused programs and ensure clinical oversight during operating hours.
• Establish strong relationships with local health systems, physicians, and families in Portage.

• Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years of administrative/management experience in a home health agency or healthcare facility (Required).
• RN License: Active, unencumbered Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (Preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; BSN or Master’s in Healthcare Administration/Business preferred.
• Regional Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Great Lakes region and established local healthcare referral networks.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines, quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI), operations management, and exceptional leadership communication skills to foster a positive work environment.
