Job summary

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking an Administrator to oversee the overall operation of the Action Recovery Center in Limeport, PA. You will supervise all staff, manage credentialing/recredentialing for affiliate and medical staff, and ensure compliance with PA DHS regulations and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or Health Care Administration from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred Behavioral Healthcare Professional Licensure.
• Minimum of three years of recent experience in a behavioral health setting or brain injury management.
• At least one year of management experience in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in ensuring the quality and appropriateness of Resident care meets or exceeds company and industry standards.
• Assists in ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and standards.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual budget for facility.
• Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervenes as needed.
• Identifies staffing and facility needs to provide quality outpatient and residential services in a safe environment.
• Develops and monitors performance standards of all employees and consultants.
• Makes provisions for continuous evaluation of the organization, its services, and its finances and follows up with appropriate adjustments in programs and budgets.
• Hires sufficient staff, clinical and support, to ensure quality services are provided in a safe environment. Terminates staff when performance deficits cannot be resolved.
• Plans a system to assure that all reports assume their responsibility to keep all records up-to-date and of high quality.
• Review and approve discharge and placement plans.
• Ensures facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with company guidelines.

POSITION FUNCTION

The Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of the Action Recovery Center. The position supervises all full and part time staff, in addition to all consultants. This position manages credentialing/ recredentialing requirements for all affiliate and medical staff.

KNOWLEDGE

• Working knowledge of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations related to Adult Residential Care, as well as the department's Regulatory Compliance Guide (RCG), as related to this position.
• Knowledge of Behavioral Health Practice Guidelines, as related to this position.
• Knowledge of how to manage a diverse group of persons and skill in doing so.
• Knowledge of current trends and developments in behavioral health care field
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Fluent in English and literate.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or Health Care Administration from an accredited college or university
