At Vrakas CPAs + Advisors, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional accounting services across various sectors. Our team consists of experienced professionals committed to achieving excellence in Tax, Audit, and Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS). We are currently seeking a dynamic Administrative Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing next-level services to our clients. You will play a crucial role in supporting our diverse departments. This is a full-time, in-person position at our Brookfield office, M-F, 8:00-4:30.

  • Provide high-level administrative support across multiple departments and offices, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Prepare accounting documents, finalize reports, and accurately record confidential data
  • Professionally navigate various forms of communication across all departments
  • Collaborate with a seasoned team of professionals who value hard work and initiative to achieve success
  • Utilize various software and technology tools to enhance productivity and streamline processes
  • Assist with answering phones as needed
  • Consistently and accurately perform service with integrity and reliability

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge in Word and Excel
  • Strong proficiency in technology and software applications; accounting software experience is a plus
  • Consistently dependable with a demonstrated ability to listen, anticipate, and respond to service needs while maintaining a positive demeanor
  • Highly adaptable professional who isn’t afraid to ask questions and dive into the details
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can juggle multiple priorities while also working well independently
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in the office exclusively
  • High school diploma or equivalent

* There may be some overtime hours required, including the possibility of working some Saturdays during peak seasons.
