Schedule, Reporting & Travel

This is a remote, part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week.

Work will be divided between sponsorship/event support and education/certification support based on organizational priorities and seasonal workload.

The Administrative Support Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Executive Assistant and collaborate directly with the Director of Partnerships and Director of Education.

Some travel may be required, particularly in connection with conferences, events, or other ICPA activities. Travel requirements will be determined in advance and discussed with the contractor based on organizational needs, event schedules, and availability.

Because ICPA's workload varies throughout the year, particularly around conferences and major programs, the ability to adapt priorities and manage time effectively is important.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means:

  • Tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Sponsor, exhibitor, registration, and education follow-ups are handled consistently and professionally
  • Potential issues and discrepancies are identified proactively
  • Problems are investigated and addressed rather than simply passed along
  • Processes are documented as they are learned, creating useful SOPs for future onboarding and coverage
  • Communication with the team is timely, clear, and professional
  • The contractor becomes increasingly independent as familiarity with ICPA systems and processes grows
  • Work is completed with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • The individual demonstrates reliability, accountability, attention to detail, and good judgment
Contract-to-Employment Opportunity

This position is intentionally structured as a 12-month contractor engagement to provide both ICPA and the contractor an opportunity to establish a strong working relationship, evaluate performance, and determine long-term organizational needs.

At the conclusion of the contract period, ICPA may consider extending the contract or converting the position to an employee role.

Any extension or employment conversion will be based on organizational needs, demonstrated performance, availability, and mutual agreement and is not guaranteed.
