State of Missouri’s Fulton State Hospital is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant to join the Materials Management- Purchasing team. This role supports the hospital's purchasing operations, prioritizes purchase orders, purchases items, and handles local shopping with independence and deadline discipline.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years as Administrative Support Clerk within Missouri's pay system or 3+ years of office support, HS diploma or equivalent, strong computer and grammar skills,

Materials Management- Purchasing
This is an administrative assistant position supporting the Materials Management Purchasing Department for the hospital. This person assists in oversight of the Uniform Program for the Hospital. This person must have the ability to prioritize purchase orders, ability to purchase items, complete local shopping. This person must be able to function with considerable independence and handle multiple complex tasks deadlines simultaneously. Preference will be given to someone with excellent computer and grammar skills and knowledge of Missouri Buys. This is a challenging but exciting opportunity for individuals with a great deal of initiative and experience.
Two or more years of experience as an Administrative Support Clerk with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
OR
Three or more years of experience in office support work; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)
