The City of Fort Lauderdale Public Works Department seeks an Administrative Supervisor to oversee payroll, timekeeping and recruitment, and to provide high‑level advisory and administrative support. The Public Works Department is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to oversee payroll, timekeeping and recruitment efforts of the department.
Provides highly responsible advisory and administrative work planning, developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on, and improving various programs, policies, work methods and procedures. Analyzes and evaluates major segments of the organization and, based on study findings, develops recommendations and advice to management for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and department operations. Supervises assigned staff and conducts performance evaluations. Work is reviewed through conferences, observation, reports submitted, and results obtained.
This is a classified Management Category III position covered by the Federation Bargaining which includes six (6) additional Management Vacation Days and a Vehicle Allowance of $250/month.
