Tacoma Community College is seeking a motivated student employee to support daily office operations, events, and student engagement within the President’s Office. This in-person, part-time role reports to the Administrative Operations Coordinator and runs for a one-year appointment.
Current TCC enrollment is required to qualify. Responsibilities include front desk tasks, event support, scheduling logistics, data entry, and campus outreach to connect students with college leadership.

The Office of the President is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student employee to support daily office operations, special projects, and student campus engagement initiatives. This position provides hands‑on experience in administrative support, event coordination, professional communication, and student engagement within an executive office environment. The student employee will gain insight into college leadership and institutional operations while contributing to meaningful campus projects and activities that connect students with the President and college leadership.
This is an in-person position reporting to the Administrative Operations Coordinator in the Office of the President. This is a part‑time, hourly position intended to be a one‑year appointment. The successful candidate must be a currently enrolled TCC student.
This part‑time student hourly positions are bound by the WAC 357-04-045 provisions above. Scheduled to work up 16 hours per week and on a quarter‑by‑quarter basis. The work location is the TCC main campus, Office of the President in building 12. The salary is $20.00-$20.00 per hour. TCC Part‑time hourly and student employees including work study students, will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours work ed. Hourly non‑student employees may be applicable for comprehensive health care benefits package for you and your dependents includes medical, dental and vision insurance. Life and long‑term disability insurance plans and retirement benefits are also provided.
