Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities.
  • Research and prepare special reports.
  • Develop, revise, and recommend administrative policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks and handle interruptions appropriately.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Maintain hard-copy and electronic files and civil rights records.
  • Process agricultural samples, incoming mail, outgoing mail, invoices, and bills.
  • Update calendars, itineraries, mailing lists, and county records.
  • Assist with meeting arrangements and provide administrative support for agents.
  • Enter travel claims, purchase requisitions, expense reports, spend authorizations, and procurement card transactions into Workday.
  • Complete postage and copier reports.
  • Support reporting in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H, and Community and Economic Development.
  • Use Workday and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software.
  • Maintain equipment and inventory of computers and equipment.
  • Perform word processing, spreadsheet creation, data entry, data retrieval, proofreading, and report generation.
  • Maintain revenue and expense records and retrieve and balance Workday reports.
  • Receive, greet, and direct visitors; answer and direct telephone calls; take messages; respond to inquiries.
  • Track deadlines, clientele requests, and scheduled programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
