Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Administrative Specialist II with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 16-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description
- Provide administrative support for the ADMS Program's stakeholder engagement activities.
- Candidates must have developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
- This level works within established procedures with a moderate degree of oversight and serves in a non-exempt capacity.
- Uses business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail.
- Maintains files and calendars.
- Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses.
- Additional duties include providing logistical support, such as meal ordering, access management, hotel and flight coordination, liaising with on-site administrative support, and other logistical needs for ADMS Program team members for on‑site events like software deployments, working sessions, and big room planning events.
- This resource may also be needed to support the facilitation of said events, including development of meeting material, room or site preparation, or assisting the primary meeting owner with ensuring all needs are addressed heading into the event.
- This resource will also assist the Program Director and other key personnel in scheduling of meetings and other events.
- Some travel will be required to support these on‑site events, anticipated at approximately once per quarter.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- 5+ years relevant experience in a high volume environment
- Strong experience with MS Office Suite
