Qualifications
To qualify for the position in the Federal service, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level.
Specialized experience includes producing written documents using office automation software; maintaining files; entering data into databases or spreadsheets; handling travel requests and vouchers; managing vehicles and conducting inventory.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of administrative assistance services: compose correspondence from records or files.
Prepare reports by compiling data and obtaining required information; advise on procedural and administrative functions related to reports.
Maintain office files, records, logs, and manuals to fit specified systems.
Perform front desk duties, screen visitors, and answer phones.
Receive mail, determine if it requires supervisor attention, or redirection.
Disseminate mail and manage packages, supplies, etc.
Maintain inventories and reorder levels for offices.
Assist with purchasing of routine office supplies; collect data from documents.
Assist with government-owned vehicles including scheduling maintenance and registration.
Coordinate facility maintenance requests for timely resolution.
