INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION in Phoenix, Arizona seeks an Administrative Service Officer 1 to provide essential administrative support for the ALJ Division. This role supports the administrative tribunal that resolves disputes under the Arizona Workers’ Compensation Act and the Arizona Minimum Wage Act.

The position offers remote work options within Arizona, with duties spanning calendars, correspondence, and data reporting to ensure efficient, fair administration for workers and employers alike.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Arizona Workers' Compensation laws, rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with ALJ Division workflows and case management processes.
• Proficiency with Windows, Google apps, and Microsoft Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and evaluation of ALJ Division staff; manage workflow and deadlines.
• Review confidential files and compose legal notices, orders, and correspondence.
• Train and supervise Legal Secretary staff on ALJ case management and document production.
• Prepare ALJ statistical reports and analyze data for performance insights.
• Perform procurement duties, including vendor invoices and purchasing.
