Job summary

HDR in Arlington, VA is seeking an Administrative Project Coordinator to support the Architecture studio. You will organize construction administration tasks, coordinate with project architects, and help manage project documents using Newforma.

The role requires an associate degree, at least one year of related experience, and proficiency in Word and Excel; local candidates preferred. HDR offers a comprehensive benefits package and employee ownership culture.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, process, and follow up on Construction Administration tasks via Newforma software.
  • Track Construction Administration processes and responses from subconsultants, and administer timely return of correspondence to Contractor/Owner.
  • Apply company quality assurance guidelines for project document management.
  • Coordinate with Architecture Project Managers and project teams as needed.
  • Create and maintain paper and electronic files.
  • Assist with and help coordinate meetings and presentations.
  • Exhibit professionalism with clients (internal and external).
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Administrative Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction Industry
  • Local candidates preferred
