Job summary

City of Stockton is recruiting for an Office Technician in the Police Department on an Open/Promotional basis. The role supports administration, HR, payroll, and IT functions, with a 9/80 schedule and potential supervisory responsibilities.

  • Coordinates budget administration and computerized systems and processes.
  • Establishes and administers assigned City/departmental programs.
  • Provides technical support to managers and staff.
  • Maintains calendars, schedules meetings, books travel.
  • Prepares and maintains departmental records, reports, systems, and databases.
  • Researches and analyzes information related to departmental operations.
  • Interprets and explains complex information to staff and external parties.
  • Represents the City in meetings and collaborates with other departments.
