Job summary

At Home Hospice, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Business Manager to oversee administrative support and non-clinical operations. You will ensure efficient executive-level support, maintain contracts and HR/medical files, and coordinate with the Home Office on invoicing and billing audits.

The role emphasizes strong organizational leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage clerical staff and non-clinical workflows to support patient care and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare or office administration experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and maintaining contracts, binders, and HR/medical files for all agency employees and contract staff in accordance with policy and applicable regulations.
• Reviewing, reconciling, and submitting invoices to Home Office in accordance with policy; ensure timely payment and maintain vendor relationships.
• Performs and/or manages billing audits per policy and follows up with corrections.
• Manages clerical staff and non-clinical workflow and processes in the office, including hiring input and staff decisions.
