Job summary

Gun Hobbies is seeking an Administrative & Online Sales Assistant to join our team. You will handle office tasks such as answering phones, assisting customers, and keeping records organized. You will also manage our online store by adding new products, updating prices, writing product descriptions, and helping promote products online.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and enjoys a mix of office work and online sales in a firearms retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and strong written communication
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry
• Highly organized with good time management
• Comfortable with computers and MS Office
• Experience with a POS or e-commerce system (coreSTORE preferred)
• Firearms retail knowledge including ATF Form 4473 and NICS is a plus
• Must be 21+, pass background check, and be eligible to handle firearms

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, assist customers, and direct calls
• Add new products and update items in coreSTORE
• Set and update prices per vendor costs and MAP guidelines
• Create and maintain website listings—titles, descriptions, photos, stock levels
• Write product descriptions and posts for website, email, social media, and Google Business Profile
• Check shipments against packing slips and report differences
• Process paperwork, file documents, and maintain records; assist with invoices and payments
