Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NJ RN license.
• BSN or working toward degree.
• Five years of nursing with progressive leadership experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Receive reports and initiate patient care rounds on each assigned unit.
• Act as consultant; lend clinical expertise and intervene as necessary in patient care.
• Review daily staffing sheet and adjust staffing patterns for on-coming shift.
• Provide a concise, timely, informative report to the Divisional Director and/or on-coming Supervisor.
• Communicate, interpret and implement established policies and procedures.
• Communicate employee attitudes and performances to management and contribute to morale and quality of care.
• Counsel, initiate and administer the disciplinary process per policy.
